About
Cancer and Immunology Research Center (CIRC) of Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences was established on February 2016, after receiving permission from Ministry of Health and Medical Education and in favor of expanding research and approaching solutions for health and medical concerns. The research center pillars include research center council, head of the research center, founder members, research committee members and secretary of the research center. CIRC is based in Research Department of Tohid Hospital and it is privileged by having access to basic and clinical sciences faculty members of the university as research committee members, which provides a suitable condition for expanding accurate and precise research on cancer and immunology subjects.
CIRC seeks to solve the problems of the society and supply public health by conducting targeted research in the field of cancer and immunology, targeted budgeting of studies in this section, supporting the researchers working in this area, and applying, following up and exploiting the research results. CURC aims to upgrade the scientific level of students, faculty members and graduated alumni by evaluation and proposing research priorities and guiding new research towards these priorities, setting up research laboratories, conducting educational programs and collaborating with other research centers in Iran and around the globe.
